I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with the quality of our experience. Everything was well-thought-out and executed, leaving me and my siblings free to relax and enjoy our experience.

Von der ersten Interaktion am Vorabend an, als unser Safarifahrer Freddy zu unserem Camp kam, um uns mitzuteilen, was uns erwartet, und um sicherzustellen, dass alles in Ordnung ist, wussten wir, dass wir in guten Händen waren.

The next morning we were taken to the launch site where we were greeted by our Captain, Moses, and the staff who offered us coffee and cookies and showed us to the heaters and the comfortable, clean bathrooms. Moses gave an engaging history of ballooning and a clear outline of safety protocols, and then we loaded into the balloon and we’re off.

Den Sonnenaufgang über der Serengeti zu beobachten, war unvergesslich. Während der nächsten Stunde und 15 Minuten schwebten wir über die Ebenen und nahmen die Pracht Afrikas in uns auf. Der Pilot steuerte den Ballon so geschickt, dass wir viele Tiere sehen konnten, darunter Löwen, Elefanten, Flusspferde außerhalb des Wassers, Impalas, Wasserböcke, Gnus, Zebras und sogar einen seltenen Karakal. Unsere Landung war perfekt und das Bodenpersonal begrüßte uns mit Sekt und Orangensaft.

Last, but not least, we were taken to the balloon base for a delicious and beautifully prepared full breakfast. The amenities were once again luxurious and comfortable, including the “Loo With a View”. One of my favourite parts of the morning was the staff greeting us with a song on arrival and regaling us with another on departure.
