Über Mose

Meet our Chief Pilot, Moses Msuya, an International aeronaut with licenses in Tanzania, Canada, the USA, Kenya, and Myanmar. With 28 years of experience flying hot air balloons and over 3900 hours of flight time, Moses is one of the most experienced pilots in the skies. A former Civil Engineering Technician, Moses followed his passion for flying balloons in his father’s country, Tanzania. 

Moses ist dafür bekannt, dass er es liebt, den Ballon mit den verschiedenen Winden zu steuern und sich eins mit der Natur zu fühlen. Eine seiner denkwürdigsten Fahrten war die Beobachtung eines jungen Impalas, das von einer Hyäne gejagt wurde, nur um von einem Leoparden weggeschnappt zu werden, der mit seiner Beute schnell auf einen Baum kletterte.

When he’s not soaring through the skies, Moses enjoys yoga, playing guitar, and pursuing his love of design and innovation

He dispels the myth that you must be fearless of heights to fly and says that it’s the most peaceful sensation once you’re in the air, just drifting with the wind. Moses’ favorite quote is, “We follow no road!” and he truly believes that there’s nothing like the experience of floating over the earth, following the wind.
